Description
Malthouse Farm, comprising two cottages, was built in the 18th century. The exterior is constructed of roughly squared and coursed limestone rubble with a roof of stone slates. The cottages are two storeys high. The front has four windows, each with a three-light wooden casement under a wooden lintel and a stone cill. A central boarded door is present for each cottage, sharing a wooden lintel with the adjacent casement window. A central stone ridge stack with weathering is present, along with an original brick end stack (the left-hand stack being rebuilt in the 20th century). The interiors were not inspected.
