House and cottage. Mid-C18, cottage with some late C19 alterations. House of coursed limestone rubble with stone slate roof. Two-unit plan. Two storeys. Integral brick end stacks with weatherings. Two-window front; 2-light wooden casements with wooden lintels. Central boarded door with wooden lintel. Late C19 or C20 gabled rustic porch. One-storey addition set back to right with French casement. Lower cottage adjoining to left, of coursed limestone rubble with red brick dressings; C20 machine tile roof. Two-unit plan. Two storeys. Integral brick end stack to right. Pair of first-floor 2-light wooden casements with wooden lintels and ground-floor 2-light wooden casement to right boarded door with segmental brick-arched head and boarded door to left with wooden lintel. interiors not inspected, Included for group value.
