Description

The Old Post Office is a house dating from the early 19th century. It is constructed of coursed limestone rubble and features a pantile roof with a single gable stack and dentillated eaves. The building has a two-storey, four-bay front. To the left, there is a doorway with a segmental head and a panelled door. There is a single three-light sliding sash window to the left of the door, and two similar windows to the right. On the upper floor, there are four sliding sash windows, with the one above the doorway having two lights, while the others have three lights. All the windows are topped with splayed brick lintels and segmental heads.
