Description

The Manor House is a farmhouse built in the mid-19th century, designed in the Tudor style. It features a limestone ashlar facade, with red brick in English bond on the sides and rear, and a slate roof that has raised stone coped gables and scrolled kneelers. The building has an H-plan layout and is two stories tall with a three-bay front, where the end bays are separately gabled. It has a plain plinth and a double chamfered eaves course.

The central section has a pair of four-centred arched openings topped with a plain parapet, leading to a flat-roofed open porch. This porch contains a half-glazed panelled door on the right and a small fixed glazing bar light on the left. Each side of the porch is flanked by slightly advanced three-light windows. On the first floor, there is a shorter three-light window flanked by single two-light windows that have hipped ashlar roofs. All windows are glazing bar sashes with slender ovolo moulded mullions, double chamfered surrounds, and label stops. The flanking gables feature single blank rectangular chamfered openings.
