Description

This trap house dates from the early 19th century. It is constructed of red brick in a Flemish bond pattern, with yellow brick headers, and incorporates ashlar dressings. The roof is pantiled, and features a dentillated eaves course. The two-storey, irregular three-bay front has an off-centre double planked door set beneath a basket arch with an ashlar key and impost blocks. To the left of this is a smaller, similar door, and to the right, a further door and a two-light fixed window, all with basket-arched heads. Above, on the first floor, are three fixed glazing bar windows set under timber lintels. It is included on the heritage register primarily for its group value within the surrounding landscape.
