Description
This building is a cottage located at 31 Main Street, dating from the late 17th century, with alterations made in the 19th and 20th centuries. It is constructed of mud and stud, with a pebble dashed exterior and a half hipped thatched roof, featuring a single square axial stack. The cottage has a lobby entry plan and is a single storey with a three-bay front. The entrance is an off-centre 20th-century door set in a brick surround, with a three-light 19th-century plain casement window to the left and a two-light 20th-century similar window to the right. Inside, the cottage retains bay posts of the frame and chamfered principal girders.
