Description

This is a house located at 1 Main Street in Ewerby and Evedon, built in the early 19th century and altered in the mid-19th century. It is constructed of red brick in an irregular Flemish bond with some ashlar dressings and has a pantiled roof with two gable stacks. The building is two stories tall and has a three-bay front. The central entrance features a four-panelled door that is sheltered by a gabled porch, which includes ashlar kneelers, an arched lintel, and a coped gable. On either side of the door are single glazing bar sash windows with cambered brick heads. On the first floor, there is a blank central opening flanked by similar windows that reach the eaves.
