Description
The offices at Bass Maltings, built around 1900 and designed by A. Couchman, are a single-storey structure made of red brick with hipped plain tile roofs. The building features two brick wall stacks and a central ridge ventilator, along with a deep blue brick chamfered plinth. The main façade has a recessed center that includes a door with a fanlight set in a round-headed doorway with a hood mould. On either side of the entrance, there are single projections, each containing three plain sash windows. To the left, there is a recessed round-headed archway that leads to a large reception window. This building is an important part of the nationally significant Maltings complex.
