Description
314 and 315 High Street is a shop and office building from the mid-19th century, with some alterations made in the late 20th century. The structure is built of painted brick, featuring stone and stucco dressings, and has a hipped slate roof with a single ridge stack. It has a rounded corner and wooden modillion eaves. The building stands four storeys tall and consists of two sections with four bays each. The windows on the first and second floors have moulded eared architraves. The High Street facade includes a shopfront with a continuous fascia from the 20th century, above which are two floors, each with two glazing bar sashes. The uppermost section features two smaller glazing bar sashes. The facade facing Cornhill also has four bays and similar window arrangements, with plain sashes on the first floor. The interior has not been inspected.
