Description
11 St Peter's Gate is a mid-19th century office building that underwent late 19th-century alterations. It is constructed of red brick, featuring painted ashlar dressings and a stucco cornice, with the roof concealed behind a renewed brick parapet. The building has four storeys and a three-to-one window arrangement. The projecting block on the left side has three plain sash windows with cornices supported by brackets. Above this, there are two floors, each containing three 12-pane sashes with eared architraves. The ground floor features a late 20th-century shopfront. To the right, there is a slightly recessed entrance bay with a two-light round-arched plain sash window and a cornice on brackets. Above this entrance, there are two floors, each with a similar window in a plain architrave. Below, there are two moulded round-arched doorways with shafts and mask capitals, all under a common cornice.
