Description
No. 4 St Peter's Church Walk is a house that has been converted into offices. It dates from the mid-18th century and has been altered in the mid and late 19th century. The building is constructed of red brick, partly roughcast, with a stucco ground floor and slate roofs. It features three gable stacks, a plinth, and a cornice at the ground floor level. The house has three storeys and a five-window range, designed in an L-shape.
The central doorway is topped by a round-arched stucco hood supported by brackets, with renewed doors and a fanlight. To the left of the doorway are two plain sash windows, while to the right are three glazing bar sashes. On the first floor, to the left, there is a canted wooden oriel window with three plain sashes and a cornice above it. To the right, there is one plain sash and three glazing bar sashes. On the second floor, there are three plain sashes and two glazing bar sashes. The rear wing features mainly large glazing bar sashes.
