Description
No. 192 High Street is a house that has been converted into a shop. It dates from the mid-18th century and was refronted in the mid-19th century, with some alterations made in the 20th century. The building is constructed of brick with a stucco front and has a plain tile roof featuring two side wall stacks. It has chamfered quoins, an eaves cornice, a coped parapet, and gables. The structure is two storeys high, plus attics, and consists of two bays. The full-width shopfront and fascia were added in the mid-20th century. Above the shopfront, there are two 19th-century Ipswich style bay windows with plain sashes. Above these, there is a segment-headed dormer. The interior has not been inspected. This building is included for its group value.
