Nos 44 to 48 on Upgate, dating from the 18th century, are two-storey brick buildings with a pantile roof. They feature three windows with segmental arches and casement frames. There is one small 19th-century shop window with plain pilasters and one modern shop front. This listing is part of a group, with Nos 36 to 52 forming a cohesive architectural ensemble.
