Description

Nos 46 and 47 on Mere Street are likely from the 18th century and have been altered over time. The buildings feature a brick facade that has been painted, with a plastered return on the south side. They have coupled dentils along the eaves band and are topped with pantiles. On the first floor, there are three 3-light casement windows, each with gauged flat arches above them. The mid-19th century shop fronts are made of wood and include pilasters, with entrances located at both ends. These buildings are part of a group that includes Nos 41 to 54 on the same street.
