Description

Nos 11 and 12 Mere Street are a pair of 17th-century buildings. They are two storeys high and have plastered facades, lined and painted. The roof is covered with pantiles. The first floor of Nos 9 to 11 features three three-light flush frame mullion transom casement windows. No 12 has a six-panel door alongside a restored timber-framed brick nogged first floor with a three-light leaded casement window. A late 19th-century wooden shop front is also present. A large red brick chimney stack is a prominent feature.
