Description

Nos 2 and 3 on Mere Street are 18th-century, three-storey buildings with two windows each, featuring a plastered exterior. Number 2 has a roof primarily covered with pantiles and flush frame windows that now only have central glazing bars. It includes a wooden shop front with 19th-century scroll corbels and a mutular cornice, as well as recessed modern windows and a central entrance. Number 3 has flush frame sash windows, also with central glazing bars only, and a modern shop front on the ground floor. Both buildings have a low-pitched roof.
