Description
The King's Head Hotel is a 17th century building located on the west side of Market Place. It features a timber-framed structure that is plastered, with parts lined and painted. The hotel is three stories tall with a three-window center section that has a parapet, flanked by a two-story, four-window wing on the left and a two-window wing on the right. The first floor of the center and right sections overhangs. The center section mainly has mullion transom casements, while the left side has four flush frame sash windows with glazing bars on the first floor. The roof is covered with pantiles, and the building has been significantly modernized.
