Description
Nos 43 to 47 on Staithe Street are 18th-century buildings that stand two stories tall and are finished in plaster that is lined and painted. The roof is covered with pantiles. On the first floor, there are three near-flush frame sash windows, which now feature only center glazing bars. To the left, there is an arched passageway. The ground floor has a wide three-light shop window with an entrance to the left. There are two entrances on the right, each with wooden cases that have scroll consoles and flat cornices. Number 47 has a six-panel door and a near-flush-frame sash window to the right on the ground floor. These buildings are part of a group that includes Nos 27 to 73 on the same street.
