Description

This is a pair of late 18th-century shops, altered in the 19th and 20th centuries. The building is constructed of red brick, with some areas colourwashed and others rendered. It has a Westmorland slate roof with coped gables and a central ridge stack.

The building has a three-storey, four-bay facade and a wooden dentilled cornice. The ground floor features two 20th-century shop fronts. The first floor has a pair of plain sash windows set within tall, blank, semicircular recesses, and to the right, a pair of tall plain sash windows with decorative cast-iron balconies. The second floor has two smaller casements and two smaller plain sash windows to the right. The interior has not been inspected.
