Description

This is a 17th-century cottage, altered in the 19th and 20th centuries. It is constructed of randomly coursed Mount Sorrel granite, with red brick sections, and has a slate roof with raised brick coped gables and two red brick gable stacks. The cottage is single-storey with attic space and has a two-bay front. On the front is a three-light casement window with a segmental head, and to the right a red brick canted bay window with a hipped slate roof and glazing bar casements. To the right of this is a single-storey, single-bay brick extension containing a small fixed glazing bar window. To the left, a stone extension features two 20th-century two-light glazing bar casements, and eyebrow dormers.
