Description

This is an early 19th-century house with minor 20th-century alterations. It is constructed of red brick, which has been colour-washed, and has slate roofs with two brick gable stacks. The house has an L-shaped layout. The front, facing the road, is irregular and four bays wide; the right-hand bay is separately gabled. A centrally located 20th-century door is flanked by single 3-light 20th-century casement windows. Above, a 2-light casement window is flanked by single 3-light casement windows. All openings have segmental brick arches. A cast iron glazing bar window is located in the right gable. The building is included on the list for its group value.
