Description

The war memorial, located north of Polebrook House, was erected around 1920. It is made of stone and features a tall, narrow rough-hewn design with a smooth carved surface facing down the avenue of trees. The inscribed face reads:

"avenue of trees
is planted
to the memory
of 36 old boys
of this school
who fell in the
Great War
1914-1919"

Below this inscription is a list of the names of those commemorated.
