Description

Jasmine Cottage and Kildare Cottage are a pair of cottages dating from the early 18th century, with Jasmine Cottage specifically dated 1733. They are constructed from coursed ironstone rubble and feature a Welsh slate roof. The cottages are two storeys high, although they have been heightened.

Kildare Cottage has a single two-light casement window with a flat timber lintel on each floor facing the street, along with a side entry next to the stack. Jasmine Cottage has a doorway on the left and two two-light casement windows on the side, with a possible additional blocked opening between them. All windows have flat timber lintels, with the lintel over the right-hand window being significantly longer than the window itself. There are also two upper two-light casements, and all the windows are irregularly divided by their wood mullions. The cottages are marked with initials S over T.S. and feature gable end stacks.
