Description
Jasmine Cottage and Plum Tree Cottage are two cottages that form part of a row, dating from the mid to late 18th century. They are constructed of Flemish stretcher bond brick and feature thatched roofs with brick ridges and right end stacks. Jasmine Cottage, located on the left, has a two-unit plan and is one storey with an attic, showcasing swept dormers. It has a one-window range and a central plank door, along with a 20th-century thatched open porch. The cottage features 20th-century leaded three-light casements, with the left window set beneath a brick cambered arch. The dormer includes an old part-leaded three-light casement.
Plum Tree Cottage has a three-unit plan and a three-window range. It features a 20th-century part-glazed door situated between the first and second bays, which is topped by a brick segmental arch. To the left, there are old three-light casements, and to the right, there is a thatched canted bay with horizontal glazing bars. A 20th-century three-light window is also present on the right side. The rendered dormers contain old wood and iron two-light casements with glazing bars. The interiors of both cottages have not been inspected.
