Description
Jasmine House and Jasmine Cottage is a building that has been divided into two dwellings. It likely dates from the late 18th century, with the roof raised in the mid-19th century and three gabled dormers added later. The structure is made of coursed squared stone and features a Welsh slate roof. It has two storeys, an attic, and a basement, with a symmetrical front that includes five windows. The windows are sash style with glazing bars, although some have been replaced, and they are set in near-flush wood architraves. There is a Yorkshire sash window in the basement plinth. The central door is made of six panels, arranged three over three, and is framed by a heavy chamfered stone lintel and jambs. The roof is adorned with stone copings, kneelers, and end chimneys. At the rear, there is a one-storey early 19th-century extension that is part of Jasmine Cottage, while the rest of the rear elevation is mostly blank except for one window.
