Description
This building is a cottage located to the east of Primrose Cottage, dating from the late 18th century or early 19th century. It is constructed of coursed squared stone and features a pantiled roof with stone copings and square kneelers. The chimneys at the ridge and ends are rebuilt in brick. The cottage is 1½ storeys high and has three irregularly placed windows. Two upper windows are set in stone gables that break the eaves, with copings resting on the lintels. There is one small window located under the eaves. On the ground floor, there are tri-partite early 19th-century windows with small opening lights. The entrance has a plain boarded door situated in a small 20th-century porch. The building was originally two cottages.
