Outbuilding About 5 Metres North Of Ingarsby Old Hall

This is an outbuilding located about 5 meters north of Ingarsby Old Hall, dating from the 17th century, with internal alterations made around 1800. The structure is built of coursed squared stone, featuring a timber-framed gable with brick nogging and a Welsh slate roof. The right gable is stone-coped. The building has two storeys and includes a ground floor with a three-light window. To the right, there is a small gabled extension with a Swithland slate roof. On the left end, there is a door and a blocked opening, along with a 20th-century window in the gable, which has a tie beam truss with a collar and close studding, some of which has been restored. Inside, there is another similar tie beam truss. The internal stone and brickwork indicate that the building was likely used as a bakehouse. It is situated approximately 5 meters to the right of the right end of Ingarsby Old Hall.
