Description

The Old Sunday School, built in 1822, is a single-storey structure located on the north side of Bradgate Road in Newtown Linford. It is constructed from granite and slate rubble stone, topped with a Swithland slate roof. The building features two three-light wood mullioned pointed Gothic windows, each adorned with imposts and keystones. A central slate tablet on the façade is inscribed with 'Sunday School 1822'. There is a door on the right end that has a pointed arch and is accompanied by a 19th-century porch, while another door is located on the left end. A 20th-century extension has been added to the rear of the building.
