Description

The Congregational Sunday School, built in 1829, is a single-storey school constructed from dressed stone with a stone slate roof. It features seven bays of sash windows, which have altered glazing, connected by tie-stones and supported by projecting sills. The building has stone gutter brackets and a gable entry situated between two windows. Above the doorway, there is a recessed stone plaque that reads: "THIS SCHOOL was BUILT by PUBLIC SUBSCRIPTION A.D.1829 For CHILDREN of all RELIGIOUS DENOMINATIONS." A single stack is located on the west gable.
