Description
This milestone, located next to Owler Mill, dates from the late 18th century. It is made from a single stone and has a semi-circular shape at the back with two dressed angled faces. The left face indicates "To TODMORDEN 2 MILES" with a hand pointing to the right, while the right face states "To BACUP 3¾ MILES" with a hand pointing to the left.
