Description

This is a milestone located in front of number 927 on Burnley Road in Todmorden, dating from the late 19th century. It is a single upright stone featuring two chamfered faces. The left side of the stone indicates a distance of "TO BURNLEY 6¼ MILES," while the right side states "TO TODMORDEN 3 MILES."
