Description

This milestone, located to the north of number 606 (Black Rock) on Burnley Road in Todmorden, is a mid-19th century stone structure. It features a single arch-headed design and displays inscriptions indicating distances: "TO TODMORDEN 2 MILES" with a hand pointing to the right, and "TO BURNLEY 7¼ MILES" with a hand pointing to the left.
