11/45 Milestone opposite 129 Gisburn Road -

Milestone. Dated 1863. Original setting in boundary wall of stream. 5 feet high. Single piece of moulded stone. Dated in broad, rusticated base which rises as narrow projection approximately 2 feet above the wall. Incised lettering on north east side of projection reads 'To/Burnley/5 Miles'. On south west side, 'To/ Gisburne/7 Miles'.
