Description
The barn at Park Hill is a structure that possibly dates from the late 17th century, with later additions. It is built of stone and features a stone slate roof supported by plain gutter corbels. The barn has a segmental arch-headed doorway and two small square windows. To the left, there is a byre door with a square surround. The eaves include two rows of pigeon holes, and the south bay is set back. A large door with a timber lintel is present, along with a window with a square surround at first floor level. There is a later extension to the left, which includes a small two-storey building that projects westwards and has a catslide roof. This extension also features a range of pigeon holes and alighting ledges, in addition to those in the northern gable. Inside, the barn has nesting lofts and a stone flagged floor at the first floor level.
