Description

These are two cottages built in the mid-18th century. They are constructed from stone and feature a stone slate roof. The cottages are two storeys high, with two altered windows on the ground floor and four two-light windows on the first floor, although the mullion on the right has been removed. Both doorways have a plain surround. There is a single-storey extension that projects forward on the right side. This building forms the rear wing of No. 239 Gisburn Road.
