Description

A row of four cottages dating from the early 19th century, situated on Bacup Road in Todmorden. The cottages are constructed of watershot masonry with a stone slate roof. They are two storeys high and comprise four bays. Each bay features a doorway with a tie stone to the right. The left-hand jamb forms the side of a three-light, flat-faced mullioned window, with a matching three-light window above. Four stacks rise from the ridge. Numbers 236 and 238 have open wooden gabled porches, added in the mid-20th century.
