Description
The Independent Chapel, built in 1854, is constructed of ashlar and features a hipped slate roof. It has a plinth and raised quoins, along with bracketed eaves. The entrance front includes a central round-headed doorway with double panel doors and a fanlight above a plaque that reads "CLOUGH FOOT INDEPENDENT CHAPEL 1854." On either side of the entrance are tall round-headed windows with margin light glazing. The side fronts each have three round-headed windows with margin light glazing on both floors. Inside, the chapel retains all its original fittings, including a gallery with panelled fronts supported on iron columns, box pews, and a high panelled pulpit.
