Description

The Methodist Chapel, built in 1823, is constructed from squared limestone with ashlar dressings and features a slate roof. It has a square plan and includes stone steps leading up to a central panelled double door set beneath a pointed arch. On either side of the entrance, there are 2-light pointed windows adorned with Y-tracery. The rear of the chapel has two 3-light windows, and each return front features a single 3-light false window, all also with Y-tracery. The building is accented by grooved stone corner scrolls and has a shallow pyramidal roof topped with a ball and pedestal finial. Inside, the original fittings remain intact, including panelling, pews, a pulpit, a lectern, and a table.
