Description
The Manor House is a building that has been divided into two dwellings. It dates from the early 18th century and has undergone later subdivision and additions. The structure is made of squared stone that has been whitewashed, topped with a pantile roof and featuring brick stacks. Originally, it had a three-cell, hearth-passage plan, with a rear outshut added later.
The house is two storeys high and has five windows on the first floor. A 20th-century half-glazed door is located to the right of the center, with a blocked fire window to the left. To the right of the door, there is a three-light 20th-century casement window, with two similar windows to the left. All first-floor windows are the same style, and they all have thin timber lintels.
Visible at the eaves level are the ends of tie beams that are carved with masks. The building features coped gables and kneelers, as well as two end stacks and one central stack. Inside, there is a tile bressumer, a heck, and a witchpost that remain in the center ground floor room.
