Description
The Sunday School, dated 1818, features a later addition at the rear. It is constructed of coursed squared stone, with the front elevation dressed, and has a Welsh slate roof. The building is single storey with a symmetrical front that has five bays. The central doorway is obscured by an added wooden porch. There are large windows with projecting sills and stone lintels that have raised keystones, fitted with later casements. Above the central door, a tablet reads:
"SUNDAY SCHOOL Built by Subscription AD 1818 Train up a child in the way he should go and when he is old he will not depart from it."
There is a lateral stack on the right side and a hipped roof. At the rear, there is a continuous lean-to addition that is not of special interest.
