Description
Barugh Bridge is a road bridge dated 1850. It is constructed from rock-faced stone and features a single span segmental arch over the River Dearne. The bridge has vermiculated voussoirs and slightly battered sides with terminal buttresses. There is a moulded band at the base of the vermiculated parapet. The north-west side of the bridge is longer due to a bend in the river, and the buttress at this end displays the date.
