Description
This is a former summer house, now a cottage, dating to the mid to late 18th century, with a 20th-century addition. The building is constructed of red brick with ashlar dressings and has a tiled roof. It is two storeys high, with two bays at the front and one bay on each side, and part of the lower floor is below ground level. Raised ashlar quoins are visible, and the windows are sash windows with moulded architraves. A band runs horizontally between the two floors. The cornice and blocking course are moulded, and the roof is pyramidal. A blocked window with a matching cornice is present on the right side of the upper level. The rear addition, designed to be in keeping with the original building, is not considered to be of special architectural interest.
