Description
Rose Cottage is a cottage dating from around 1800, with the possibility of an earlier core. It is constructed of rendered rubble stone and features a Swithland slate roof with a central brick ridge stack. The building has two storeys, with two sets of three-light casement windows that open in the center, and cambered lintels above the ground floor windows. There is a door located to the right of the windows. To the right, there is a one-storey extension that includes a two-light casement window, also with cambered lintels, and an end stack, along with a further small extension. At the rear, there is an outshut with a catslide roof. Inside, the cottage features chamfered beams and an inglenook fireplace.
