Description

The Vicarage is a late 18th-century house located on Bradgate Road, Newtown Linford. It is constructed of rendered rubblestone, with a Swithland slate roof and rendered brick end and centre-right ridge stacks. The front elevation features two storeys with three casement windows: a two-light window above a French door, and a three-light window over a 19th-century bay. Similar windows are present on the upper floor. Painted brick and rubblestone wings extend to the rear, each with end stacks. The ground floor features doors and two- and three-light casement windows with cambered lintels. Internally, chamfered ceiling beams and single and double purlins of the roofs are visible. A rear stone wing is possibly of earlier date.
