Description

This is a group of three late 18th-century cottages located on Wymeswold Road. They have a pantiled roof. The cottages are constructed of brick and are two storeys high, with single and two-unit plan forms. Simple plank doors are present. Number 5 has a rubble plinth, and its door and a three-light casement window with small panes are set beneath a single lintel, which may have been part of a former shop. The other cottages have a mix of 19th-century and 20th-century casement windows and sash windows. Inside, a spine beam survives, and slight remains of a timber frame are visible on the front facade of number 9.
