House, formerly public house. C17 with C18 facade. Rusticated stucco on stone, gritstone dressings. Slate roof, brick gable end and ridge stacks. Two storeys plus attics. Double fronted north elevation - semi-circular headed stone doorcase with moulded architrave and keystone. Lunette fanlight with gothic tracery. Six, raised and fielded panelled door. Above, painted bull's head. Either side C19 margin light sashes. Similar windows above. Off-centre drainpipe with initialled hopper head. To west, four step mounting block. Inside, curved chamfered beams, two large stone fireplaces, one with massive stone lintel.
