Description

This is a house dating from the early 19th century, situated in Chapel-en-le-Frith. It is constructed of coursed, squared gritstone with flush gritstone dressings, and has a stone slate roof. A gable end stack is visible. The house is three storeys high and has a double-fronted, two-bay design. A set of three steps leads to a central doorcase with flush jambs and lintel, sheltering a four-panelled door. To either side of the door are glazing bar sashes. Above these, a similar window is present on the west side, while the east side has a 19th-century sash window. Above these windows again are two smaller sashes. The rear elevation features two two-light flush mullioned windows, one of which has a large, triangular-headed lintel.
