Description
The gates and gate piers located approximately 70 yards southeast of Locko Park form the outer entrance to the carriage sweep at Locko Park. They were likely designed in the 1850s by Henry Stevens. The structure is made of ashlar and wrought iron. There are two square gate piers with panelled sides, moulded tops supported on dentils, and urn finials. Low abutment walls flank each side. A pair of wrought iron gates features openwork iron piers. This listing is noted for its group value only.
