Description

This is a bridge over a weir located in Locko Park, dating from the mid-19th century. It is constructed from brick, rock-faced gritstone, and ashlar. The bridge features a rusticated segmental arch, with the lower part of the side walls being rock-faced and sloping inward. There is a band of quoins on either side of the archway, and above it, a plain stone band. The rock-faced parapet wall has plain copings that are ramped at each end, leading to square rusticated piers topped with pyramidal shapes and ball finials.
