Description

Bowes House is a house from the early 19th century, constructed of red brick and topped with a Welsh slate roof. It features two red brick gable stacks and a moulded eaves cornice. The building is two storeys high and has three bays. The central doorway is adorned with a six-panel door and a margin light overlight, framed by wooden panelled pilasters and a flat hood. On either side of the doorway are single glazing bar sash windows with painted, rusticated wedge lintels. Above the doorway, there are three additional glazing bar sash windows. To the right of the house, there is a simple conservatory.
